“TROUT RELEASE”

A rainbow trout is being released by two hands. The image is taken from a photo of an old friend of the artist named Chuck Fothergill. He's gone now but taught Richard how to tie flies and to fish the Roaring Fork River near Aspen. Richard donated one of the sculptures to Trout Unlimited for their fund raising efforts and one is in the E.S. Lawrence Gallery in Aspen, Colorado.
